Connecting two markets means understanding different business practices, expectations and rhythms, then building lasting cooperation.

Founder Story 04|Building Bridges for Sino-German Collaboration

Living and working in China and Germany has made one thing increasingly clear to me: cross-border collaboration requires professional expertise and an understanding of the circumstances on each side.

German businesses entering China and Chinese businesses expanding into Europe may face changing markets, regulatory requirements, language barriers and cultural differences. They may also have different expectations about time, risk and how a partnership should work.

Even capable partners with a genuine willingness to collaborate can struggle to make progress. A delay, an unconfirmed document or a commitment whose conditions remain unstated can lead each side to very different conclusions.

Understanding the Context Behind Differences

I was born and raised in China and worked in Beijing, Shenzhen and Shanghai before moving to Germany. I continued gaining experience in German companies and the European business environment.

Working and living in both countries has helped me understand different market practices, organisational structures and decision-making processes. It has also shown me how the same action can have different reasons and meanings in different settings.

Useful communication makes those circumstances visible. It helps partners distinguish between problems that need resolving and differences that need understanding and coordination.

Turning Understanding into Collaboration

This is where I want to contribute.

I help Chinese businesses clarify European market requirements, commercial expectations and possible entry routes. I also help German businesses understand China's market environment, decision-making rhythms and approaches to cooperation. From there, I work with both sides to identify viable opportunities, find suitable partners and establish clear terms.

Sometimes that means realigning objectives. Sometimes it means explaining constraints and adjusting unrealistic expectations. It can also mean assessing honestly whether an attractive opportunity deserves further investment.

I want this work to reduce friction and help everyone understand what they are committing to and what they can reasonably expect.

A Bridge That Needs Shared Commitment

Establishing companies in Munich and Shenzhen allows me to connect experience and resources from both sides in support of practical cooperation.

I value integrity, professional competence, responsibility and long-term commitment. These qualities provide a foundation for moving forward when difficulties arise.

“Annie Thing Is Possible” means facing reality and being willing to find a way through complexity. The bridge I want to build should help partners take their first step and support them as their collaboration develops.
